I have seen a description of some software called ‘Action Drums’ that seems to be exactly what I’m looking for but the site seems to have shut down. Does anyone know of any similar software?

I would like to know what software is used to create the models and scenery in games such as World Of Warcraft and Guild Wars.

I don’t want to create games as such, I would however, like the software to create a small sort of animation of a model moving or something.

What software is used to do this?

Would they use Maya or 3D Max?
